History

In the summer of 1987, Ethel Labrie, the track coach at Central High School, and a group of parents,(Roy Washington, Robert Prados, and Ed Stewart) met with Parks & Recreation Staff for the purpose of forming an age grouped track team. This track club participates in USA Track meets, the Hershey program (ages 8 to 14) and the Texas Amateur Athletick Federation (ages 6 to 18) which is a Texas Parks and Recreation Sponsored program.
The program is open to any child age 6 to 18 years of age in Southeast Texas. The Beaumont track club avearages 100 children per summer.

No registration will be taken at West Brook High School. No exceptions.
